Combsberry Inn bed and breakfast dock with crab pot and view of water

‘One if by Land, Two if by Sea’… or so Henry Wadsworth Longfellow once wrote in his poem, “Paul Revere’s Ride” to describe the signal used to guide Revere’s famous midnight ride. At Combsberry, we welcome our riders to come however they please, be it by car, bike, motorcycle, or even boat. That’s right, our waterfront property provides more than stunning views and water activities (although we love both of course); it also allows our guests to travel to us by boat!

Located on Bringman’s Cove, a tributary to the Choptank River, boaters have easy access to our docks, with space for guests to tie up for their weekend visit. Sail boats and motor boats are welcome as long as the depths are suitable enough for their keel. Note: the water depth at our dock is between five and five and a half feet.  There is also plenty of exploring to be enjoyed by boat during your visit, as the Choptank River boasts beautiful views, ample wildlife, and plenty of boat-friendly restaurants including Town Dock and Crab Claw in St. Michaels, Suicide Bridge in Hurlock, and Bay Hundred on Tilghman Island, to name a few.

Summer may be coming to its inevitable end, but the Eastern Shore weather is nothing short of perfection in the late summer and early fall months as mild temperatures prevail and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets dominate. We absolutely love getting outside to explore this time of year, and what better way to explore the natural beauty of the Choptank River and the Eastern Shore than by boat. Join us today…be it by land or by sea! Click here to find us by land or by boat.

During our off-season from November to March, the Cottage and Carriage House will be available for rent with a 20% off discount to accommodate for a temporary absence of breakfast.
