bed dresser and nightstands in queen ann room at combsberry inn

A few weeks ago, we presented the first in a series of installments that we are crafting in an effort to dispel the common myths that often cloud the bed & breakfast world in which we live. In Part 1, we discussed the misguided notion that B&B’s only offer shared bathrooms; a common myth that is easily disproven by the fact that all of our rooms at the Inn come with their own private bathrooms. This week, we’re tackling the popular misconception that B&B’s are not air conditioned. True or false: Combsberry Inn has central A/C. If you answered ‘true’ then you are correct!

While the Combsberry Inn is a historic Country Manor Home built in 1730, that doesn’t mean that we don’t offer all of the comforts of a modern day vacation getaway. One of the more common myths that we hear visitors voicing concerns over is whether or not they will be sleeping in the comforts of an air conditioned room. Of course with the summer heat that can hit the Eastern Shore at any time from April until November, who can blame them!? Rest assured fellow travelers, you will be sleeping comfortably in our air conditioned rooms at the Manor House, as well as in the Oxford Cottage and the Carriage House. We’re more than just bed and breakfast, we’re bed, breakfast, comfort, style, luxury, relaxation…we could go on and on.

Summer may be winding down, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have plenty of warm days and nights ahead of us. Book your stay at the Inn now to enjoy the rest of your summer to the fullest. Water activities, local events, relaxing afternoons and evenings spent on the lawn…the list of options for your stay at the Combsberry Inn are endless. Discover all that we have to offer at the Inn with a late-summer stay in Oxford, MD. See you soon!

During our off-season from November to March, the Cottage and Carriage House will be available for rent with a 20% off discount to accommodate for a temporary absence of breakfast.
